Nursing Best Practice Research Centre (NBPRC) Organizational Application

Please complete the online application for organizational members.

 

The NBPRC is a unique collaboration between researchers and educators at the University of Ottawa and an active grassroots professional association, the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario. The Centre strives to bring the best knowledge to nursing and healthcare to enhance practice and improve health and system outcomes.

As a criterion for organizational membership, you are required to have a minimum of 1 staff member as an individual member of the Centre.

Please upload a 1-2 page letter that includes the following:


a. How you are involved in, or plan to be involved in at least two of the goals of the NBPRC, i.e.:

i. Implementing guidelines

ii. Knowledge Transfer activities


b. The types of personnel and in-kind resources that the organization is willing to commit for various NBPRC research projects (e.g., participating sites for research projects),


c. Activities that the organization would like to be involved in (e.g., strategic planning, participation in research projects, venue for seminar programs, etc.)


d. The organizational representative for the duration of the membership period (3 years), such as the senior nursing executive. 
 

e. Please include the names and contact information of up to 5 additional staff members who will commit to disseminating NBPRC information to nurses and others within your organization.
