Registration for French Tobacco Intervention Champions Workshop, Welland

The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) invites all nurses, students, and other health-care providers to attend a FREE one-day French workshop at our recently assigned Implementation Site, Centre de Sante Communautaire Hamilton/Niagara. This workshop will be held in FRENCH.

During this workshop you will:

  • Learn more about the Tobacco Intervention (TI) Initiative and brief intervention 
  • Identify key recommendations from the latest edition of the RNAO Tobacco Intervention Best Practice Guideline (BPG)
  • Identify the role of a Best Practice Champion as a leader in knowledge exchange and transfer

The Ontario Tobacco Research Unit (OTRU), a third-party evaluator, is working in partnership with RNAO to evaluate the RNAO TI Initiative. OTRU is an academic research institution with offices at the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
