Dear Colleague,
The New RN in Ontario are submitting an Interest Group application to the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario. We have been approved to proceed with the next steps of getting 20 RN/NP members to express their support of our Interest Group.
Objectives of the group are:
- Provide support and continuing education for new RNs
- To guide new nurses to advocate for healthy work environments
- To support new nurses in integrating recommendations of RNAO and BPGs
- To empower new nurses to seek growth opportunities and become leaders
- To provide new nurses with networking opportunities amongst existing interest groups to support knowledge and career growth
- To create a supportive space for new nurses and curate a sense of belonging
