Objectives of Nurse Practitioner Interest Group (NPIG):

• To advance the voice of Nurse Practitioners within the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) and promote a strong, collective nursing voice by adhering to RNAO's mission and values
• To advocate for healthy public policy on issues related to nursing, health and health care, providing a Nurse Practitioner perspective
• To facilitate a place for networking, leadership for Nurse Practitioner members of RNAO
• To foster leadership and advocacy capacity building skills among Nurse Practitioners by empowering them to take action on issues that affect the nursing profession and the public they serve
