Una Ferguson

My name is Una Ferguson and I am putting my name forward as Interest Group Representative to the board of RNAO. I am presently chair of the Staff Nurse Interest Group (last 5 yrs.) and I also belong to the MHIG and GNAO. I have been on the executive of region 10 for the past 16 years, presently and in the past, as the policy and political action executive network officer and was a board representative from 2011-2015. I currently work as a staff nurse at Royal Ottawa Place, a LTC facility of the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Group. I would like to increase my knowledge of the interest groups of RNAO and look forward to working with them as well as reporting back to the board of directors the important work that they contribute to RNAO. Also, I realize that some groups may be struggling to maintain viability and I look forward to helping them knowing from past experience what support can be had from RNAO head office.
