Join the Retired Nurses’ Interest Group as we welcome Pastor Dave Larmour To speak to us on loneliness and its effects on our wellbeing! Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.-8 p.m. via Zoom

Loneliness is a painful experience for so many in our culture. A sense of meaningful belonging and social connection are central to our human experience, and when we feel that we are denied this important experience, we fail to thrive.  David Larmour has spent the past 30 years helping people explore spirituality and recover their full humanity by creating safe opportunities for people to "belong" through his role as lead pastor of a local church. He has recently joined the mental health profession as a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and serves at Voice of Hope Counselling and Wellness Centre in Brooklin, Ontario. David has served at Master's College and Seminary as an adjunct faculty member. He has an undergraduate degree in theology and two masters of arts - one in organizational leadership and the other in counselling psychology.  He is married and a father of two young adult daughters.  He is a friend to his dog Finley who helps him with his own experience of loneliness.
