Due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 outbreak globally and within Canada, the PedNIG team is extremely saddened to announce that we will be canceling the Hamilton Paediatric Nursing Skills Workshop. Our workshops typically draw high attendance and as large gatherings may contribute to the transmission of the virus, this event will be canceled as a precaution to mitigate risk to Canadians. We hope to see many of you at a future workshop. Please keep an eye out for future workshop dates which will be posted on our website (http://www.pednig.ca/) and will be sent out to PedNIG members via RNAO emails. Refunds will be issued for those who have registered for the event.

The Pediatric Nurses Interest Group (PedNIG) is excited to offer this opportunity open to nurses and nursing students interested in paediatric nursing! Sessions will include topics relevant to paediatric nursing delivered through didactic and hands on skills, designed for novice to advanced learners. The end of the day will also feature a career panel of various paediatric practitioners to share their experiences in the field, with an opportunity for Q & A. 

The workshop is on Saturday, March 28, 2020, and will run from 0830-1600h. Registration for the day will begin at 0800h.

Lunch will be provided.

Be sure to bring your stethoscopes, a notebook and pen, and your enthusiasm to learn!
