This is an opportunity for MHNIG Members to share their thoughts and ideas on mental health nursing, trends you are seeing from your practice as well as an opportunity to network with likeminded Registered Nurses. There will be an update on the current status of the MHNIG Board activities and future MHNIG board goals.

The Role of the Registered Nurse in Addiction Management in the Face of the Opioid Crisis
Highlighting the various roles Registered Nurses can play to facilitating routine substance use screening, client education about the impact of chronic substance use and risk reduction strategies. Focus will be placed on how to foster judgement free, trauma informed model of care.
