The Nursing Students of Ontario is hosting an event aimed at providing undergraduate nursing students with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage the challenges of their academic and clinical experiences.

By addressing critical topics such as recognizing burnout, accessing strategies to cope and fostering psychological safety to promote a culture of self-awareness, resilience and well-being. Through interactive discussions and professional insights, this event will empower students to maintain their mental, emotional, and physical health, ensuring they can thrive both in their studies and future nursing careers.

Objectives

By the end of this event, we hope that attendees will gain understanding
in:

  1. recognizing burnout in nursing students
  2. developing effective coping strategies
  3. implementing psychological safety within nursing education
  4. implementing long-term wellness practices
