The Inaugural Student-Led Academic BPSO Conference Registration Form

Academic Best Practice Spotlight Organization® (BPSO®) conference. This virtual conference is scheduled for Nov. 18, 2024, and will feature participation from BPSO students from Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, and Spain. The conference is designed by and for students, aiming to deepen their understanding of delivering safe, competent, and evidence-based care, guided by RNAO best practice guidelines (BPG).

The conference will occur over Zoom, and will be divided into 4 blocks, each with their own Zoom meeting. Please fill in your details and select your preference on which meeting you'd like to participate in. Enter at least one to complete the registration form. You are allowed to select more than one, if needed.

The conference will be divided into 4 blocks, which will be listed below with their designated times:

Block 1
Welcome and introduction to conference + Leadership Roles for Students Within Academic Settings and Professional Practice
Time: 09:00 - 11:30 EST

Block 2
Understanding and Application of BPGs + 2 student abstracts
Time: 12:00 - 14:30 EST

Block 3
Cultural Safety in a Global Context + 2 student abstracts
Time: 15:00 - 17:30 EST

Block 4
The principles of Patient-Centered Care + Thank you and closing
Time: 18:00 - 20:30 EST
