2025-2026 RNAO Student Ambassador Registration Form

Student Ambassadors represent RNAO on nursing school campuses. They are the RNAO "point persons" among their fellow students and the link between a school's nursing student body and RNAO Home Office. 

RNAO Student Ambassador's Role:

  • Provide RNAO membership information and benefits to fellow nursing students and promote membership through RNAO's campaigns as a valuable career choice;
  • Liaise with the Nursing Student Associations at their school;
  • Connect with NSO (Nursing Students of Ontario) to help promote their events and initiatives to their respective school
  • Coordinate and host RNAO promotional booth and class announcements and special events on campus;
  • Act as the contact person for students with RNAO-related inquiries;
  • Act as a link between nursing students and the local RNAO chapter;
  • Work with other Student ENOs (Executive Network Officers) in local Chapter & Interest Groups; and
  • Provide RNAO Home Office with feedback from student colleagues on RNAO, nursing and healthcare issues.

Requirements:

  • All students selected to become an RNAO Student Ambassador must complete a virtual mandatory training session in August 2025 with future meetings throughout the year.
  • RNAO Student Ambassadors are required to host a minimum of 3 x in-person membership booths at their school and/or 4-6 classroom visits per school year.
  • Each school, may have up to a maximum of 10 student ambassadors to work collaboratively to achieve the mandate.
