In our current global context of a climate emergency and its related devastating human health impacts, it is imperative to mobilize the nursing climate action vote in the upcoming Canadian federal election on October 21st. Co-facilitated by Gideon Forman of the David Suzuki Foundation, join the Ontario Nurses for the Environment Interest Group for an hour-long interactive webinar on climate change and advocacy in the context of this pivotal federal election.

Key learning objectives include understanding:

  • Why the upcoming federal election is so important in relation to Canada’s role in mitigating climate change
  • The RNAO's federal election environmental platform
  • Ways to mobilize vote for climate action in our communities while remaining non-partisan
