During 2015 federal election campaign, she moderated an All-Candidates Meeting in Northumberland. Additionally, in December 2015, she collaborated with NRIG to implement a research webinar for nurses, which was based on results from a Needs Assessment of RNAO Research Committee. Angela has conducted and published many Intervention Research studies on Preceptorship, Cultural Competence and Diabetes. Lastly, if I am elected MAL Nursing Research, I would implement more research webinars for nurses, advocate their concerns and represent their interests.

My philosophy of nursing is: Every nurse is a leader, advocate, and change agent who contributes to the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of patients and their families through clinical practice, education, research and administration.
