Rebecca Harbridge

Becky Harbridge is a proud registered nurse who has worked in public health in chronic disease prevention for the past 13 years. She has also enjoyed working in various settings including acute care, community care and the in academic environment. She began her career in 1986 as a personal support worker, and has since completed practical nursing, diploma nursing, a BScN, a Master of Arts in Education and Canadian Nurses Association certification as a community health nurse. She is active in RNAO: she is Region 5 Representative on the Board of Directors, is a South Simcoe executive network officer, co-chair of the Workplace Liaison Council, a workplace liaison, and an Editorial Advisory Committee member for Registered Nurse Journal. She was RNAO’s HUB fellowship award recipient in 2011, which saw her shadowing Doris Grinspun, RNAO’s CEO, for one week. She is currently completing a Doctorate in Health Administration and a Masters Certification in International Health.
