I have 45 years experience working in the health sector in low-income countries in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. I am a medical epidemiologist and public health physician, with expertise in maternal and child health, including nutrition; communicable diseases control, including HIV prevention and care; emerging infectious diseases and pandemics; primary health care program design and evaluation; sexual and reproductive health; and public health in conflict-affected and refugee populations.
