RNAO Addressing Substance Use Webinar Learning Series

A five-part webinar series designed for nurses and other health-care professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills when engaging with persons and families who use substances. This comprehensive webinar series on substance use will increase capacity amongst nurses and other health-care providers across the continuum of care to facilitate evidence-based, high quality care for persons and their families experiencing substance use issues

The increasing incidence of substance use disorders has created a need for health-care organizations to utilize the most effective approaches to substance use prevention and management. The use of evidence-based practices by health-care providers is critical to address this growing epidemic and provide the necessary supports for persons and their families.

The Addressing Substance Use Webinar Learning series consists of five, two hour learning module, once a week, for five consecutive weeks. The Modules will be facilitated by well renowned clinicians, researchers, educators and leaders from various health-care settings across Canada.

Cancellations will be accepted up to and including by March 22, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. EDT, less an administration fee of $75.00. No cancellations will be refunded after this date, however attendee substitutions are acceptable at all times. RNAO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule this event. You will be notified of changes or cancellation and refund options.  

Please note that registration is for one person, and only one certificate will be provided per registration. You must attend all 5 modules to receive a certificate.
