Region 11 RNAO Annual Fall Tour & Student Success Series

Registration is closed for this event

Region 11 is proud to present and welcome you to its upcoming collaborative, virtual RNAO Annual Fall Tour & Student Success Series on Friday, Nov. 13 from 1-3 p.m.

This FREE two-hour virtual event is open to all members and non-members in Region 11 and beyond, with a special focus on BScN undergraduate students.

Part 1: RNAO 6th Annual Fall Tour with Special Guest, Dr. Doris Grinspun

The first segment of this event provides an opportunity for nurses in Region 11 to engage virtually with RNAO’s CEO, Dr. Doris Grinspun. Dr. Grinspun will meet with NPs, RNs, and nursing students to discuss key health issues that they believe should be front and centre during the pandemic, and provide an update on RNAO’s work over the past year.

Part 2: Student Success Series: Speaking Out, Strategizing for Success Online, and Self-Care

Following, Region 11 will host its first session as part of a Student Success Series. The session will be geared to BScN students and faculty. However, all are welcome to join, learn, and network!

The session will include the benefits to student RNAO membership and the importance of advocacy and Speaking Out from Dr. Doris Grinspun, a session on Strategizing for Success Online by Daniel Opperwall and Rachael Verbruggen from the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Extended Learning, and a special guest session discussing Self-Care strategies for undergraduate students.

We hope you will join us for this informative, exciting, and motivating Fall Tour & Student Success Series event!

On behalf of Region 11, we look forward to having you join us virtually.
Lil Bressan, Region 11 Representative
