This NP Insider is a webinar that will take place on Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 1200 to 1300hr.

The webinar is designed for nurse practitioner and nurse practitioner student members of the Nurse Practitioner Interest Group (NPIG) to support their knowledge and skills in ordering Computed tomography (CT) imaging and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

This NP Insider is critical given the recent practice expansion of nurse practitioners in Ontario in being able to order CT imaging and MRIs. Therefore, this event will benefit nurse practitioners, nurse practitioner students and patients because of recent changes to legislation to remove barriers to patient care.

This webinar will allow participants to understand the recent legislation in Ontario that permits nurse practitioners to order CT/MRI, differentiate between CT and MRI, and to apply the principles of diagnostic reasoning through case studies to inform the ordering of CT or MRI.
