Before submitting the application: Please read the following details regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) before completing the application form and uploading your documents.

Purpose of Request for Proposal

Health-care organizations across the province are invited to apply to become New Tobacco Intervention (TI) Implementation Sites through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

New Implementation Sites are committed to implementing the RNAO TI Best Practice Guideline into one or more areas within their organization’s units/programs/services. Four to six new Implementation Sites will be selected through this RFP process, and are eligible to receive up to $5000[1] each to support implementation-related activities and resources. 

The duration of this partnership opportunity between RNAO and the Organization will be until March 31, 2018. Implementation Sites must spend their budget before March 31, 2018 and keep all receipts in order to comply with Ministry of Health and Long Term Care fiscal year reporting requirements.

To complete: An email of intent to apply is due on July 17, 2017, to the attention of the Senior Manager, Sheila John sjohn@rnao.ca.This email should include a short letter expressing the organization’s intent to submit an application by August 14, 2017.Your completed online application, with supporting documents, is due on August 14, 2017, via this web form.


[1] The final amount given to each organization will be determined in collaboration with the internal RNAO team; however, sites may request a maximum of $5000.00.
